Seoul (TDI): At least seven people were injured after South Korea airplance caught fire on Tuesday, authorities said.
According to the authorities, the blaze may have been caused by a portable battery placed in the overhead bin.

South Korea’s Transport Ministry confirmed that an Air Busan plane, which was set to take off to Hong Kong from Gimhae International Airport in southeastern Busan, caught fire in the rear section on Tuesday night.
All 169 passengers aboard, seven flight attendants and other staffers were safely evacuated.

The ministry initially said three people sustained minor injuries, but revised the number to seven on Wednesday.
“One of them is currently hospitalised,” it added.
