Beijing (TDI): A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has expressed Beijing’s readiness to strengthen friendly exchanges with India and work towards stabilizing relations between the two neighbors.
Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, conveyed these sentiments during a meeting with Indian Ambassador Pradeep Kumar Rawat on Tuesday.
The discussions, held in Beijing, centered on implementing the consensus reached by leaders of both nations and restoring bilateral ties to a healthy trajectory, according to a statement issued by the CPC’s press office.
Liu highlighted the significance of the leaders’ meeting at the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, earlier this year, describing it as a pivotal step in revitalizing China-India relations.
