The Secretary of the United States of America, Antony J. Blinken communicated with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico Marcelo Ebrard.
Both officials exchanged views about how to address the primary reasons for irregular migration, and how to promote just and orderly regional migration. They talked about their shared interest in reducing irregular migration and promoting regional economic security and peace.
Blinken further expressed gratitude for the contributions Mexico has been making to enhance migration management, inclusive of its multilevel support.
They also highlighted the significance of promoting democracy and human rights in the region.
