Saudi Investment Minister to Lead Delegation to Pakistan

Islamabad (TDI): Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Falih, will lead a high-level delegation to Pakistan from October 9-11, 2024.

The visit will bolster economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and enhance bilateral trade, investment, and business ties.

During his visit, Minister Al-Faliha will hold meetings with Pakistan’s top leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari.

The Saudi delegation will also engage with key Pakistani government officials, private sector representatives, and various business groups to explore opportunities for collaboration across multiple sectors.

The visit marks another milestone in the long-standing relationship between the two countries, particularly in the areas of investment and trade.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have shared a strong bilateral relationship for decades, and this visit further signifies Saudi Arabia’s growing interest in Pakistan’s economic development.

The Saudi delegation will be discussing potential projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and technology.

The discussion will also focus on new investment opportunities under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 framework. This aims to diversify the Kingdom’s economy beyond oil and create a broader platform for international partnerships.
