Islamabad (TDI): Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday and discussed matters of mutual interests.
During the meeting, both expressed their commitment to further strengthen relations ties between the two nations, especially in the areas of trade and investment.
The envoy conveyed Holy Ramazan greetings for the deputy prime minister and people of Pakistan.
Dar reciprocated the same for the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share deep-rooted historical, religious, and economic relations, with Riyadh being one of Islamabad’s major allies.

Over the years, both countries have cooperated in different sectors, including defense, energy, and infrastructure development.
Saudi Arabia has been a main source of financial support for Pakistan, offering economic help and investment in critical projects.

Saudi Arabia is also home to more than 2 million Pakistani expatriates, who contribute considerably to both economies through remittances and skilled labor.
