Islamabad (TDI): Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, called on Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, on Tuesday.
He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan. During the meeting, both sides held wide-ranging and comprehensive discussions on avenues for mutual and strategic cooperation.
They particularly discussed collaboration in areas of climate change, environmental sustainability, and development cooperation.
The interaction reflected the shared resolve of the two brotherly countries to deepen engagement in emerging global challenges and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
Minister Malik briefed the Saudi Ambassador on Pakistan’s key priorities in climate resilience, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
He underscored the country’s vulnerability to climate change impacts, including extreme weather events, water stress, and environmental degradation, and stressed the importance of strong international partnerships to effectively address these challenges.
