RIYADH 28 August 2024 (TDI): Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the terrorist attacks in Balochistan, which left more than 39 civilians dead and martyred 14 soldiers in security forces retaliatory operations in which 21 terrorists were hunted and killed.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) reaffirmed its unwavering stance against all forms of extremism, violence, and the targeting of civilians. The Kingdom also extended its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan.
China to Support Pakistan Against Terrorism
Earlier on Tuesday, China had strongly condemned terrorist attacks in Balochistan and expressed resolve to continue provising support to Pakistan in anti-terrorism action, a spokesperson for its foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
During a regular press briefing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families.
The spokesperson said China was willing to enhance security cooperation with Pakistan to fight terrorism, promote social harmony, and ensure regional peace and stability.
Russia Condemns Terror Attacks
Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Maria Zakharova condemns recent terrorist attacks in the province of Balochistan, Pakistan. She said that the Russian Federation is deeply saddened about the loss of dozens of lives in the attacks.
