Utah, 12 August 2022 (TDI): Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the USA Reema Bandar Al-Saud was invited by Intermountain Healthcare Company on Thursday. She was accompanied by a delegation from Saudi Embassy in the United States.

The meeting between officials focused on highlighting Vision 2030 of Saudia Arabia. Vision 2030 includes the National Transformation Program’s agenda for healthcare in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia.

During the meeting, Intermountain and Saudi Arabia discussed possible areas of cooperation, especially about health care transformation.

Health care transformation Program under Vision 2030

This program aims to restructure the health sector in Saudi Arabia to be a comprehensive, effective and integrated health system.

An integrated health system would be based on the health of the individual and society (including the citizen, the resident, and the visitor).

The program depends on the principle of value-based care, which ensures transparency and financial sustainability by promoting public health and preventing diseases.

It also seeks to apply the new model of health care related to disease prevention. It also aims to improve access to health services through optimal coverage and a comprehensive and equitable geographical distribution.

Moreover, it would expand the provision of e-health services and digital solutions and improve the quality of health services.

It will focus on the satisfaction of beneficiaries by implementing and following the best evidence-based international standards.

It would establish and enable integrated health care systems that cover all regions of the Kingdom by activating meaningful implementation of services.

The Health Sector Transformation Program also works on harmonizing and coordinating between all health sector entities, and relevant government entities.

The Program would also align and link with strategic national goals during the transformation journey.
