Doha, 27 September 2023 (TDI): Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani co-chaired a meeting of the Political Committees of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council held in Doha.
This high-level gathering, led by the respective Chairmen of the Political and Executive Committees from both sides, focused on strengthening the already robust fraternal bilateral relations within the framework of the Political Committee.
During the meeting, the officials explored various avenues to deepen cooperation through initiatives aimed at elevating their relations.
The objective is to fulfill the aspirations of the leadership of both nations and advance the interests of their respective populations.
Additionally, the heads of the Executive Committee reviewed the preparatory work carried out by the seven subcommittees and their working groups in recent times.
This included the examination of initiatives, outputs, and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) that are scheduled to be signed on the sidelines of the upcoming meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council.

Both sides commended the cooperative efforts and coordination between the council’s subcommittees and their working groups under the council’s general secretariat.
Moreover, the collaborative efforts are geared towards ensuring the success of the seventh meeting of the council and promoting bilateral cooperation to achieve the mutual interests of the two brotherly countries and their citizens.
This high-level engagement underscores the commitment of both Saudi Arabia and Qatar to further enhance their strong fraternal ties and work collaboratively on initiatives that will lead to broader horizons of cooperation.
