Ulyanovsk, 3 August 2022 (TDI): The 2nd BRICS International Youth Camp is being held in the Ulyanovsk Region from August 1-6.
This year Russia is hosting the camp, where individuals from different BRICS states are participating.

However, it is vital to note that the All-China Youth Federation supports this year’s initiative to hold the BRICS International Youth Camp.
What is the 2nd BRICS International Youth Camp?
The BRICS countries organize the International Youth Camp, for the development of the youth of these countries. The countries plan to host this youth camp yearly.
The event will last from 1 to 6 August at the Slavyanskoe Podvorye recreation center in the Ulyanovsk region.
Young leaders aged between 18 and 35 years old are to take part in this youth camp. They will exchange their valuable ideas on sustainable development through this platform.
The goal of the Camp is to involve experts, youth leaders and organizations from the BRICS countries in promoting sustainable development of the BRICS countries.
Apart from that, it focuses on attracting experts and concerned organizations to implement regional development projects and strengthen youth cooperation.
Theme of the 2nd BRICS International Youth Camp
Ecology and sustainable development are the main themes of the Youth Camp this year. The Camp’s program will include different project sessions.
Upon the results of these sessions, young representatives of Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa will propose initiatives aimed at sustainable development of the Ulyanovsk region.
They will also propose practical measures for cleaning natural areas and passing eco-trails, etc., under this initiative.
BRICS Countries
BRICS is an informal group of states comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. They are countries that some believe will be the dominant suppliers of manufactured goods, services, and raw materials by 2050.
The leaders of the countries regularly attend summits together and often act in concert with one another’s interests.
