Resident Representative UNDP Pakistan expresses concerns over Afghanistan

Islamabad, 15 August 2021 (TDI): Knut Ostby, Resident Representative UNDP Pakistan, expresses his emotions over increasing violence in Afghanistan and conveys the message of hope for a peaceful settlement in a war-torn country in a Twitter message. He also hopes that humanitarian and development help may soon be allowed to continue in Afghanistan. In his tweet he says that he feels heartbroken to see violence on rise but he is also optimistic about peaceful settlement in Afghanistan. This message of Resident Representative UNDP Pakistan came on the surface when Taliban entered  Kabul and U.S starts to evacuate its Embassy in Afghanistan on Sunday.
