Rana Tanveer Heads to Saudi Arabia for MIPF

Islamabad (TDI): Federal Minister for Industries, Production, and National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain departed for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to participate in the Multilateral Industrial Policy Forum (MIPF) 2024.

The event is poised to bring together experts and policymakers from around the world to discuss critical issues affecting the industrial sector.

The MIPF is organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and will be held in Riyadh from October 23 to 24, 2024.

This year’s forum will focus on several pivotal themes, including the digitalization and automation of the manufacturing sector, energy transition strategies, and the establishment of sustainable and resilient supply chains.

These discussions are expected to provide valuable insights into the future of industrial policies globally, emphasizing innovation and sustainability.

During his visit, Minister Tanveer will also engage in high-level meetings with Saudi authorities.

These discussions aim to strengthen economic and industrial cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, exploring potential partnerships and investment opportunities.
