New York, (TDI): Emomali Rahmon, the President of Tajikistan, emphasized during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York that the ongoing situation in the Middle East illustrates the futility of seeking a military solution to the Palestinian conflict.

He said that a peaceful and sustainable solution is essential for the stability of the region.

He pointed out that the Palestinian crisis is a profound concern for the people of Tajikistan.

Rahmon,stated, “Tajikistan believes that the final and real solution to this issue is only possible through the fulfillment of United Nations resolutions regarding the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the borders of 1967.”

This statement reflects Tajikistan’s long-standing position advocating for the rights of the Palestinian people and their quest for statehood.

The president expressed hope that all parties involved in the conflict would prioritize dialogue over violence, cease hostilities, and engage in constructive peace talks.

He stressed the need for adequate measures to restore stability in Palestine, recognizing that ongoing conflicts have far-reaching implications not just for the region but for global peace and security.
