Putin congratulates Russian Wrestler on gold medal win


Tokyo, 7 August 2021 (TDI): On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to Zaurbek Sidakov, freestyle wrestling player of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC). At the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020, he won gold in the men’s freestyle category of wrestling.

Zaurbek Sidakov is an Ossetian-born Russian freestyle wrestler who competes at 74 kg. Mahamedkhabib Kadzimahamedau of Belarus was defeated by Zaurbek Sidakov. Sidakov won the gold medal with a 7-0 victory.
