ISLAMABAD (TDI): Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari visited the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad on Thursday, where he met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong to express his heartfelt condolences following the deadly terrorist attack on Chinese nationals in Karachi.
He strongly condemned Monday’s attack that left two Chinese nationals dead, stating that the Pakistani nation shares in the grief of the Chinese people.
During the meeting, the President reaffirmed the commitment to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice and expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Chinese community during this difficult time.

In discussions with Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, President Zardari emphasized the significant contributions of the Chinese government and people to Pakistan’s socio-economic development.
He noted that those who oppose the growing partnership between the two nations are motivated by hostility.

The President asserted that such cowardly acts will not weaken the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China and reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to ensuring the safety and security of Chinese nationals in the country.
