The president paid tribute to the Ghazis and Shuhada of Pakistan, who made immense sacrifices to defend the country against external aggression.

He said that “This day is a reminder of our nation’s unwavering commitment and determination to defend its sovereignty. I pay homage to the brave sons of the soil who shattered the enemy’s dreams to harm Pakistan.”

The President reiterated Pakistan’s desire for peace and stability in the region, underscoring the country’s commitment to peaceful coexistence with all its neighbors.

“However, enduring peace is only possible when the plight of the Kashmiri people is alleviated,” he stated.

He condemned the continuous subjugation and terror faced by the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) under Indian rule, describing it as “an unfinished agenda of the partition of the sub-continent.”

He added that the revocation of the autonomous status of IIOJK had exacerbated the situation, and called on India to adhere to the UN Security Council’s resolutions that guarantee the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
