Moscow, 16 September 2021 (TDI): Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, held a telephonic conversation with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan.
Both sides held a detailed discussion in view of upcoming Collective Security Treaty Organization and Shanghai Cooperation Organization events in Dushanbe. Moreover, held consultations on topical matters of bilateral agenda such as joint efforts against Covid-19 and post-pandemic developments.
Both parties discussed the current Afghan situation and how collaborative efforts can avert the possible Afghan crisis. Both leaders agreed to continue their contact at all levels and strengthen bilateral relations among Moscow and Nur-Sultan.
