Prague, 14 September 2023 (TDI): The 2023 Prague Forum on the Economic and Environmental Dimension of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is scheduled to commence on September 14th and 15th.

This event will be hosted by the OSCE 2023 Chairpersonship of North Macedonia, highlighting critical issues with severe impacts on our global community.

The primary goal is to foster an engaging, interactive, and focused discussion that allows for the exchange of national experiences, lessons learned, and peer reviews of OSCE commitments.

 

The Forum will be a diverse gathering, bringing together delegates from governmental and state institutions, the private sector, academia, civil society, and international organizations. The anticipated outcome is the generation of concrete and feasible recommendations for the OSCE and its participating States.

Under the compelling theme, “Promoting security and stability in the OSCE area through achieving sustainable development, and resilient and inclusive economic growth,” this forum builds upon the discussions initiated at the 2023 Struga Conference on the Economic & Environmental Dimension of the OSCE. It serves as a natural progression of those important conversations.
