Pakistan Navy and Saudi Navy joint excercise in Arabian Sea

Islamabad (TDI): In the North Arabian Sea, the maritime exercise, NASEEM AL BAHR-XV, was held between the Pakistan Navy (PN) and Royal Saudi Naval Forces with a display of live weapon firing.

According to a PN news release, the chief guest at this event was the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Commander, while the Chief of Naval Staff also showed his presence.

Both countries have shown naval capabilities. PNS Zulfiqar, along with PNS Yarmook and RSNF Ships HMS Jazan and HMS Hail, fired a variety of surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles. In this regard, both countries have resilient naval capabilities and have successfully engaged all PN and RSNF Ships.

However, Exercise NASEEM AL BAHR-XV showcased advanced maritime operations, strengthening naval partnerships between the PN and RNSF forces. The exercise involved a variety of complex scenarios, including joint maneuvers, Anti-Surface Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and integrated maritime security operations.

Additionally, both navies demonstrated their operational capabilities and tactical coordination through combat and strategic maritime engagements. The drills aimed to adopt proactive strategies to compete with real-world challenges, ensuring seamless coordination in securing naval interests.

Ultimately, both navies reasserted their commitment to regional stability and maritime security. This maritime exercise will strengthen strategic ties and cooperation to boost naval effectiveness amid evolving security dynamics in the region.
