Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz and Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim participated in a symbolic tree plantation ceremony today in Islamabad.
This event was organized as part of the official visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister.
This marks a step towards strengthening bilateral ties and showcasing the mutual commitment of both nations towards environmental sustainability.
Following the tree plantation, the two leaders joined together in offering a Dua (prayer) for their respective countries, asking for blessing and prosperity.
This gesture was not only a representation of their shared cultural and religious values but also a reaffirmation of the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Malaysia in various sectors, especially in climate action and environmental preservation.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, during the ceremony, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and mentioned the significance of taking immediate steps to address environmental concerns.
