Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday to condemn the recent attack on Chinese nationals in Karachi, which left several injured.
The prime minister expressed his deep concern over the incident and assured that those responsible would face exemplary punishment.
During his meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, PM Sharif conveyed his sympathies for the victims and inquired about their health.
He reassured the ambassador that the government was fully committed to apprehending the perpetrators and holding them accountable.

“The attack on Chinese nationals is an attempt to harm the strong relations between Pakistan and China,” said the prime minister, emphasizing that the security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan remains a top priority for his government.
He also directed authorities to ensure the injured receive the best medical care, with reports indicating their health was improving.
The PM was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.

Ambassador Jiang expressed gratitude for the prime minister’s visit and conveyed hope that swift action would be taken to bring the attackers to justice.
