Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday expressed his gratitude to King Mohammed VI of Morocco and the Moroccan government for rescuing stranded Pakistanis after the tragic boat capsizing incident near the coast of Dakhla.
The premier made these remarks during a meeting with the Ambassador of Morocco to Pakistan, Mohammed Karmoune, who paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today at the Prime Minister’s House.

He also expressed gratitude to the local Moroccan authorities for their cooperation with Pakistani officials in repatriating the remains of the deceased and assisting their families.
PM Shehbaz recalled the strong historical and fraternal relations between the two countries and emphasized further enhancing bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

The Moroccan Ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
He assured that Morocco would continue working closely with Pakistan to explore new avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration.
