PM Shehbaz Extends Eid Greetings to Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Jordan

Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif held telephonic conversations with the leaders of Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Jordan to extend heartfelt Eid greetings.

Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his warm wishes to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, and King Abdullah II of Jordan on the auspicious occasion of Eid.

During his conversation with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, both leaders congratulated each other on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Prime Minister Sharif congratulated the Uzbek President and the people of Uzbekistan on Eid and extended prayers for the peace and prosperity of the people of both countries.

He also extended Eid greetings to the President of Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

President Erdogan thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his good wishes on Eid and warmly reciprocated the same sentiments for the people of Pakistan.

Both sides expressed satisfaction at the positive development in bilateral relations. The two leaders also exchanged views on the regional situation.

During his call with President Aliyev, Shehbaz Sharif extended best wishes for the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. The two leaders reaffirmed their shared resolve to further strengthen the deep-rooted bilateral ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

Prime Minister Sharif also extended his heartfelt greetings and warm wishes to the President’s family and the people of Azerbaijan, while praying for peace and prosperity.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also had a telephonic conversation with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, to extend best wishes and warm greetings to Jordan.

During the call, both leaders discussed the ongoing situation in Gaza. Moreover, Shehbaz Sharif extended an invitation to King Abdullah for an official visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience. King Abdullah reciprocated and extended an invitation to the Prime Minister to visit Jordan.

All four leaders appreciated the gesture and reciprocated their best wishes for the people of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. They acknowledged the importance of continued collaboration and reaffirmed commitment to fostering bilateral relations.
