Abu Dhabi (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday for a one-day official visit, undertaken at the invitation of UAE President and Abu Dhabi’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Touching down at Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen Airport, the premier received a warm welcome from UAE National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Also present to greet him were Ali Ahmed Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and members of the Pakistani diplomatic corps.
In a gesture of respect and significance, Sheikh Tahnoon personally escorted the prime minister to the Presidential Palace.

Accompanying Prime Minister Sharif is a top-tier delegation comprising Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.
During his stay, he will hold talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, among other key figures.

Officials say the discussions will span a range of topics, from trade and investment to security and regional developments.
The visit is also expected to open new avenues for collaboration in energy, infrastructure, and workforce development.
