PM Shehbaz to Attend Middle East Summit in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD, (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, fresh from a recent trip to the Middle East, is set to travel to Saudi Arabia again to attend the upcoming Arab-Islamic summit.

Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in the Kingdom on November 10 for the crucial meeting scheduled for November 11, which will focus on key issues facing the Middle East.

The summit aims to address the current situations in Palestine, Lebanon, and other regional concerns, with leaders from Islamic countries expected to present their proposals for resolution.

In his recent remarks, PM Shehbaz referred to Qatar as his “second home,” expressing gratitude to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for the invitation to visit. While in Doha, he highlighted the significance of the exhibition “Manzar: Pakistan Art and Architecture 1940 to Today,” noting its role in showcasing the cultural connections between Pakistan and Qatar.

He commended the exhibition for reflecting the strong ties between the two nations and congratulated overseas Pakistanis in Qatar on its inauguration. Additionally, PM Shehbaz praised Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar for his vital contributions to the event’s success.

Throughout his visit, he emphasized Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, stating that the Qatar Museum plays a crucial role in promoting cultural diplomacy.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan on Friday after completing a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia ad Qatar.
