PM Shehbaz, Saudi Minister Discuss Investments

Riyadh (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held talks on Wednesday in Riyadh with Saudi Investment Minister Engr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Advisor to the Saudi Royal Court, Mohammad Bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri.

The discussions centered on strengthening economic initiatives and advancing partnerships between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting follows Minister Al-Falih’s recent visit to Pakistan from October 9-11, accompanied by a large delegation from Saudi Arabia’s private sector.

Prime Minister Sharif noted that the Business-to-Business Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed during that visit are now progressing into concrete investment and commercial agreements.

He emphasized the importance of sustaining this momentum to unlock further economic opportunities between the two nations.

PM Commends Saudi Arabia’s Commitment

Expressing gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering economic cooperation, Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted the potential for both countries to benefit from emerging opportunities within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is in Saudi Arabia for a two-day visit to lead Pakistan’s delegation at the 8th Future Investment Initiative, taking place in Riyadh on October 29-30, 2024.
