The Prime Minister emphasized the need to address pressing governmental priorities, particularly the country’s economic challenges.

He underscored the importance of fostering collaboration in areas such as trade and investment, climate change, and social connectivity, as well as regional and multilateral issues of shared interest.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the role of millions of Pakistanis living in the UK as vital links between the two countries, contributing significantly to bilateral relations.

He also extended his best wishes to King Charles, to which the British High Commissioner responded with the British government’s good wishes for Pakistan.

Earlier on Wednesday, King Charles III of the United Kingdom spoke to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif over phone and  formally invited him to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa this October.
