Riyadh (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in discussions with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on the sidelines of the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the realms of trade and investment.
Prime Minister Sharif expressed Pakistan’s keen interest in strengthening ties with Vietnam, emphasizing the significant potential for increasing trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
He proposed the exchange of trade and business delegations to explore these opportunities further.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fostering people-to-people connections and promoting tourism between Pakistan and Vietnam.

Recognizing Vietnam’s influential role within the ASEAN region, Prime Minister Sharif sought support for Pakistan’s bid to become a full dialogue partner of ASEAN.
