Islamabad, 11 September 2024 (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has urged the nation to renew its commitment to building a Pakistan based on peace, justice, and equal opportunities, in line with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

In a message on the 76th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam, observed with reverence on September 11, the prime minister described Jinnah as one of history’s most visionary politicians and statesmen.

He praised Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership in the Freedom Movement, which culminated in the creation of the world’s first Islamic ideological state.

“The Freedom Movement stands as a testament to his political acumen and visionary leadership, demonstrating his dedication to democracy and the rule of law,” the prime minister said.

Jinnah’s Steadfast Commitment to Democracy

Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized that Jinnah’s steadfast commitment to democracy, social justice, and equality laid the groundwork for a nation where all citizens, despite cultural diversity, could aspire to thrive.

Jinnah’s emphasis on faith and unity resonates deeply in our society, reminding us that the country’s strength lies in its diversity and inclusiveness, he added.

The prime minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to realizing Quaid-e-Azam’s vision and addressing contemporary challenges with determination.

“In remembering Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jnnah, we are reminded of our duty to the future,” the prime minister concluded.
