Philippines Ambassador presents credentials to Turkish President

Ankara, 7 September 2021 (TDI): Maria Elena P. Algabre, the Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, presented her credentials to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace in Beştepe, Ankara.

Accompanied by the Philippine Consul General and Minister, Algabre met with President Erdoğan along with Presidential Communications Director, Chief Presidential Adviser and Spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin, and Foreign Affairs Ministry (MFA) Director-General in Turkey. The two sides discussed their bilateral relations and political, defense, trade and investments, people-to-people relations, among other issues.

President Erdoğan conveyed his support to Algabre as the 10th resident Ambassador of the Philippines in Turkey. He also sent his greetings to the people and his dear friend, President Rodrigo Roa Duterete.
