Petrol Prices Likely to Rise in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, (TDI): Petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to increase slightly starting December 16, with a proposed hike of Rs 0.81 per litre.

Meanwhile, diesel prices are set to see a moderate decrease of Rs 3.94 per litre.

These revisions, which will take effect after the government’s official notification, are based on pricing trends during the first 12 days of the current fortnight, along with global factors affecting petroleum market volatility.

Currently, petrol is priced at Rs 252.11 per litre. With the proposed increase, the new petrol price will rise to Rs 252.92 per litre.
