On 26 July, Defence Minister Pakistan, Pervaiz Khatak along with his high-level delegation arrived in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Pervaiz Khattak will lead the Pakistani delegation to the SCO Council of Defence Ministers Meeting in Dushanbe on July 28, 2021.
At the Dushanbe airport, he was greeted by Tajikistan’s Deputy Defence Minister, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, Imran Haider, and other senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Embassy.
SCO is an eight-nation influential grouping in the Eurasian region. Defence cooperation problems among SCO member nations are reviewed at the annual conference, and a communiqué is anticipated to be released following the debates.
