Pavilion for a free tasting of Pakistani Mangoes in Ukraine

Kyiv, 3 August 2021 (TDI): On Wednesday, the Pakistani Embassy set up a pavilion in Taras Shevchenko Park in Kyiv for free mango tastings. Hundreds of Ukrainians came to the pavilion. They all raved about the flavor and aroma of Pakistani mangoes. Pakistan has initiated showcasing the brilliance of mangoes to strengthen diplomatic ties with various countries as well as to promote the fruit to new markets to boost the country’s exports.

Pakistan and Ukraine established diplomatic ties shortly after Ukraine declared independence in 1991. Ukraine has great importance for Pakistan as it is located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Ukraine has also valued its bilateral commerce with Pakistan, particularly of cotton, textiles, and fruits, such as mango and rice. It was decided that the Pakistani Embassy will set up a pavilion at Taras Shevchenko Park, Ukraine on the 2nd and 3rd of August. This was done to introduce Ukrainians to Pakistani mangoes.
