Passing Out Parade of Cadets from Friendly Nations Held at PMA Kakul

RAWALPINDI, (TDI): The passing out parade ceremony of the 150th PMA Long Course, 69th Integrated Course, 36th Technical Graduate Course, and the 24nd Lady Cadet Course was held at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, said a military statement on Saturday.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza as the chief guest.

Cadets from several friendly countries including Iraq, Jordan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Palestine, Sudan and Yemen were also among the graduates, read the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

During the passing out parade, General Mirza presented awards to distinguished cadets.

The prestigious Sword of Honor was awarded to Battalion Senior Under Officer Abdullah Afzal from the 150th PMA Long Course, while the President’s Gold Medal was given to Battalion Senior Under Officer Babar Ullah Aman, also from the 150th PMA Long Course.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Overseas Gold Medal was awarded to Senior Under Officer Kshitij Gurung from Nepal, and the Chief of Army Staff Cane went to Course Junior Under Officer Muhammad Umar Sheraz of the 36th Technical Graduate Course.

Commandant’s Canes were presented to Course Junior Under Officer Muhammad Suleman of the 69th Integrated Course and Course Under Officer Pakeeza Yaqoob of the 24th Lady Cadet Course.
