Islamabad, 12 June 2023, (TDI): Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar met with Senator Allessia Claes, chairperson of the Pakistan-Belgium Parliamentary Friendship Group. The meeting was held in Islamabad.

The purpose of the meeting was to underscore the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation and fostering people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Belgium.

During the meeting, Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and Senator Allessia Claes engaged in a fruitful discussion on the bilateral relations between both nations. They recognized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and focused on the need to develop collaboration between the parliaments of Pakistan and Belgium.

Minister Khar also highlighted the importance of such collaboration to improve understanding and goodwill between the two countries. Both parties recognized the need for legal cooperation in fostering mutual understanding and tackling common difficulties.
