While the ruling PML-N extended an invitation to the PTI to join discussions on internal and external security, the PTI opted out, insisting that a meeting with its founder, Imran Khan, be arranged first. Notable attendees included PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and leaders from MQM-P, IPP, BAP, and PML-Q.
