Prime Minister Imran Khan is meeting David Gower (West Indies) and Vivian Richards (England) in his office in Islamabad.

Islamabad, 2 November 2021 (TDI): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan was visited by renowned cricketers, David Gower (West Indies) and Vivian Richards (England) in Islamabad. Prime Minister Imran Khan and the cricketers had a talk on Cricket.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan told the cricketers about the immense talent present in Pakistan regarding Cricket. Prime Minister told them about the government’s constant efforts in providing a conducive environment for young players. The meeting also involved a discussion on the promotion of Pakistan’s cricket.

Regarding the government’s part in facilitating the players, Prime Minister mentioned that he has directed to establish playgrounds nationwide. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s prerogative of establishing playgrounds in every part of the country will ensure the availability of healthy recreational facilities in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan added that the availability of such facilities will be beneficial for the youth and children.

The cricketers exchanged their views on the T-20 World Cup and lauded Pakistan’s performance in the recent matches.
