Kisarazu, 26 June 2023 (TDI): Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar, in partnership with Ken Theriault, Managing Director of Costco Japan, proudly inaugurated a delightful tasting event featuring the exquisite Pakistani mangoes in Kisarazu, Chiba.
The event, aimed at promoting the export of mangoes from Pakistan to Japan, showcased this renowned fruit’s exceptional quality and taste. Over the past three years, the export of mangoes from Pakistan to Japan has witnessed an astounding growth of over 200%.
This upward trend is a testament to the exceptional quality of Pakistani mangoes and the growing demand among Japanese consumers for this delectable fruit. The ongoing success of this partnership is expected to set yet another record in mango exports this season.
Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar, in his remarks, expressed his deep appreciation for the longstanding collaboration between Pakistan and Japan in promoting trade and cultural exchanges.
He highlighted the significance of Pakistani mangoes as an iconic symbol of Pakistan’s rich agricultural heritage and extended his gratitude to Ken Theriault and Costco Japan for their continuous support in facilitating the export of Pakistani mangoes to Japan.
