Tehran (TDI): Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, greeted the members of the Cross Route Motorcycle Club on Monday at the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran.
The “Lahore to Turkiye friendship” motorcycle rally, consisting of 11 participants, began its journey in Lahore and is currently exploring Iran’s rich culture and scenery on their way to Turkiye, as stated in a press release.
Ambassador Tipu praised the riders for their efforts to enhance adventure tourism between the two neighboring nations, noting that such initiatives are instrumental in strengthening bilateral ties through cultural promotion and increased tourism.
He highlighted the tourism potential that exists between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing their shared 900-kilometer border and cultural connections.

“We are taking steps to delve into our shared linguistic, and culinary, traditional heritage,” he noted.
The rally team, led by Muqarram Tareen Khan, expressed appreciation to the ambassador and both governments for their support.

The ambassador also presented certificates of recognition to the rally members for their role in fostering friendship between the two countries.
