Beijing, 18 October 2023 (TDI): Caretaker Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Sami Saeed, reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) during a recent meeting with Chinese technology enterprises.

Minister Sami Saeed highlighted Pakistan’s national pride in being a significant contributor to the success of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and emphasized its pivotal role in fostering regional connectivity and economic development.

During a meeting with Chinese technology enterprises, the minister underscored Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening its partnership with China with a focus on infrastructure development and sustainable growth.

He added that Pakistan’s active involvement in the BRI reflects the country’s steadfast dedication to fostering mutually beneficial relationships and enhancing global cooperation.

Zhang Xiaodong, President of Zhongguancun the Belt and Road Industrial Promotion Association (ZBRA), further elaborated on the cooperation between China and Pakistan.

Moreover, he introduced the cooperation between China and Pakistan and further said that ZBRA, the Pakistan Embassy in China, the Special Technology Zones Authority, and other Pakistani institutions will jointly select 100 Chinese enterprises that intend to expand into the Pakistani market

These selected enterprises will have the opportunity to visit Pakistan for docking, investigation, investment, and business development.

The Belt and Road Initiative, initiated by China, has emerged as a global symbol of cooperation and connectivity, aiming to enhance trade, infrastructure, and people-to-people exchanges across Asia, Europe, and beyond.
