Rawalpindi, 6 October 2021 (TDI): Commander Royal Saudi Naval Forces Vice Admiral Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Ghufaili paid a visit to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ), in Rawalpindi.
Saudi commander lauds Pakistan’s efforts in Afghanistan, especially in evacuation assistance. During the meeting matters related to mutual interests, regional security, and military and maritime cooperation came under discussion. Both dignitaries committed to strengthening cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in defense and security areas.
Admiral Fahad also met Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu. They discussed matters of professional and mutual interests. Admiral Fahad applauded the professionalism of the Pakistan air force (PAF) and its soaring indigenous capacity in the aviation industry. Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed acknowledged stronger historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as well as stronger ties between both air forces.
