Dubai, 13 August 2024 (TDI): Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Faisal Niaz Tirmizi has encouraged Pakistani residents to be exemplary ambassadors of their country while abiding by local laws.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the “Emirates Loves Pakistan” event marking Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, the envoy expressed his admiration for the event’s grandeur.
This extraordinary celebration is a testament to the enduring and deep-rooted partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, he said.
The relationship firmly established by the visionary leadership of the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he added.

The event, which drew a crowd of over twenty thousand attendees representing diverse nationalities, showcased Pakistani cuisine, culture, and music.
Tirmizi emphasized the Pakistani community’s role as a source of pride and strength.
He urged Pakistanis residing in the UAE to respect the country’s laws and improve their skills, acknowledging their important contributions to the UAE’s development.
He extended his gratitude to the Pakistan Association Dubai, the UAE Government Media Office, and Emirates Loves Pakistan for their support in organising the successful event.
The ambassador concluded his remarks by congratulating Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem on his historic victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
