Kabul, 8 September 2021 (TDI): A meeting was held between Mansoor Ahmad Khan, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Afghanistan, and Bahadar Aminian, the Ambassador of Iran to Afghanistan.
Both parties stressed continuing collaborative efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan. Islamabad and Tehran talked about elevating their bilateral relations. They also discussed providing humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
Pakistan and Iran are supporting the Afghan Taliban for smooth functioning at the borders.
