Kabul, 21 August 2021 (TDI): Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Afghanistan, Mansoor Ahmed Khan briefed that 57 Pakistanis are being sent by road to Pakistan from Afghanistan via the Torkham border.
Mansoor Ahmed tweeted that the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul has arranged the evacuation of 57 Pakistanis comprising women and children. Pakistan resumed the Torkham border activities on the third day of the Taliban conquest, allowing trade goods and people to cross the border. Today, 57 Pakistanis will cross the border by walking on their feet under the strict security provided by the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul.
Earlier this morning, Ambassador informed the Pakistan Embassy’s arrangements for the safe flight of 250 foreigners and Afghans working for IMF.
