Pakistani student toped Medical University in Minsk

Minsk, 25 June 2021: A special ceremony was held at the Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU) in Minsk for students that were granted the higher diploma, also known as the “Red” diploma, for their excellent performances in studies. Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Miss Saba Javed, a Pakistani student was the only one to secure the “Red” diploma in General Medicine from Among 202 graduates of The Medical Faculty for international students.

Spouses of Ambassador Abida Sajjad and Second Secretary Amel Abdullah participated in the graduation ceremony. Congratulating Saba Javed on her distinction, Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan conveyed his deep appreciation for keeping the Pakistani flag high and expressed his good wishes for her continued successes in the future as well.

Speaking on the occasion, Miss Saba Javed said that she felt very proud of being a Pakistani student and achieving this distinguished position. I want this to be an inspiring and motivating factor for all Pakistani students. She thanked His Excellency and Madam for their support during her stay in Minsk.

Saba Javed is the daughter of an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, who started her medical studies at the university in 2015.

Belarusian State Medical University is globally recognized, and the leading MBBS university in Belarus, which was established in 1921. It is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many other international professional medical groups.
