Riyadh, 9 March 2024(TDI): The third edition of the LEAP conference and exhibition, a beacon for cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, and innovations, was held from March 4 to 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
With over 1,800 local and international exhibitors, approximately 1,000 technical experts, and 600 startups in attendance, LEAP 2024 served as a testament to the global interest and investment in the future of technology.

Among the standout achievements at LEAP 2024, Pakistani companies showcased their capabilities and sealed multiple deals and partnership agreements with global counterparts.
Pakistan’s leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) company secured a transformative equity partnership with Saudi and Pakistani investors at the TechdestiNation Pakistan pavilion.
However,a collaborative effort of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, highlighted the significance of this investment, stating, “This investment not only signifies a pivotal moment for Pakistan’s IT industry but also underscores Saudi Arabia’s role as a global advocate for Pakistan’s technological capabilities.”
“Muhammad Zohaib Khan, chairman of the Pakistan Software Houses Association (PSHA), highlighted that LEAP 2023 generated an impressive $9 billion in IT business last year.
He also noted that Pakistani companies secured leads exceeding $100 million through B2B matchmaking opportunities.”
Commitment to Innovation
Further strengthening Pakistan’s presence on the global tech stage, mobile services provider Jazz forged a significant partnership with global consultancy TenX.
This collaboration aims to revolutionize data management through the Enterprise Feature Store and Predictive AI Models, paving the way for innovative solutions in the digital landscape.
Additionally, Abacus and ELM solidified their commitment to innovation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to lay the groundwork for future synergies, enhancing the technological landscape with collaborative efforts and shared expertise.
The Pakistan Software Houses Association (PSHA) signed its largest MoU to date during the mega event, focusing on fostering cooperation and enhancing business-to-business engagement with the IT association in Bahrain, further strengthening ties within the region and beyond.

Furthering the spirit of collaboration, Inbox Technologies entered into a partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Gissan, showcasing the strength of cross-border cooperation in driving technological advancement and innovation.
PSEB CEO Aisha Humera Moriani held pivotal meetings with high-ranking officials of Saudi Arabia, paving the way for future collaborations and fostering an environment of innovation and growth in the global tech industry.
