Pakistani Embassy Organizes Mango Festival in Brazil

Sao Paulo, 11 September 2021 (TDI): On Friday, Pakistan’s Embassy in Brazil announced the commencement of the Mango Festival under its Commercial Section in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The festival was conducted to promote Pakistan’s famous and national fruit, Mango, as part of Islamabad’s cultural diplomacy efforts.

The Mango Festival was attended by several businessmen from Pakistan and Brazil, international diplomats, and Brazilian media people. During the event, Pakistani mangoes were introduced as the ‘King of fruits,’ which was profoundly appreciated by the audience. Waqas Alam, the Commercial Counsellor of Pakistan’s Sao Paulo Embassy, stated that the primary objective of organizing this festival was to introduce Pakistani fruits and commodities to Brazil. He further addressed that mango has always been a trademark of Pakistan’s hospitable culture, sending out a message of profound love and peace.

During the festival, the guests were served various desserts made from Pakistani mangoes, alongside mango jelly, custard, and jam. Such festivals play an important role in promoting Pakistan’s distinct and peaceful culture.
