Pakistan CG met with the PCA

British Columbia, 29 November 2021 (TDI): The Pakistani Consul General in Vancouver, Janbaz Khan arranged a meeting with the vibrant Pakistan Canada Association (PCA) in British Columbia.

The Consul General of Pakistan arranged the meeting to have better coordination to support the Pakistani Canadian Community in Canada. The government of Pakistan is trying to make an effort to facilitate the Pakistani communities abroad.

Recently, the government of Pakistan introduced an application called ‘The Roshan Digital Account’ for easy access to Pakistani bank services for foreign nationals. Moreover, the government has introduced Online Attestation of the ‘Power of Attorney for the Pakistani Community in the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom (UK).

Pakistani government aspires to extend this facility in other countries as well. Therefore, this meeting with the Pakistan Canada Association (PCA) was important so that the Consul General would gather more information on the areas of improvement and facilitation for the Pakistani Community in Canada.

The Pakistan Canada Association (PCA)

The Pakistan Canada Association is a public organization that was established to assist the Pakistani Community in Vancouver. This association has preserved the Pakistani culture and religious values over the years. The PCA aspires to promote the positive image of Pakistan in Canada.

This Association celebrates various Pakistani and religious occasions. It also helps the new immigrants by providing them with good education and volunteering opportunities. The association’s main goal is to serve the Pakistani Community in Vancouver and to promote harmony and peace there.

Such collaborations with the state sectors and private sectors help in facilitating the people of a nation. Both the Pakistani Consul General to Vancouver and the PCA Association are collaborating to provide better facilities to their people abroad.
