Chicago, 25 November 2021 (TDI): On Monday, the Consul General of Pakistan to Chicago Tariq Karim met with Cook County’s President Toni Preckwinkle, members of the Illinois legislature, and some elected personnel.
The Consul General talked about the bilateral relationship between the United States of America (USA) and Pakistan. He appreciated the vibrant Pakistani American diaspora in the USA. The Pakistani American community has been playing a major role in society.

In addition, he discussed the community’s role in the socio-economic development of the two countries. There are inspiring examples of the Pakistani American women who are contributing so much to the community. Like Farah Ali the co-founder of Pakistani Women in Computing (PWC). She excelled in her field and is now creating opportunities for women in Pakistan.
Moreover, there is Sadaf Jabar, another great inspirational woman who recently got elected as an Assemblywoman. She is working to facilitate the American Pakistani community in the USA. Both Public and the government of both the countries are working together to omit the gap between the two nations.
USA and Pakistan Collaboration
Both USA and Pakistan are collaborating on defense strategies in South East Asia to bring peace and stability to the region. The two nations are creating business opportunities for small and large businesses in the two nations.
They are working together on combating climate change and the pandemic. The USA recently with the help of US-AID signed a document donating $7 million to the Pakistani government to support the Ehsaas Funding Program of Pakistan. The USA has donated a great number of vaccines to Pakistan as well since the global outbreak of the pandemic.
Pakistan and USA have always worked together to fight terrorism and maintain peace in the South Asian Region. They have worked together to bring stability to Afghanistan. The two nations have a strong long-lasting partnership.
