At the outset, He  briefed the visiting delegation on the Chamber’s core areas of work and international outreach. She highlighted Guangdong’s expanding global service network, with overseas centers already established in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan.

The Chamber has also signed strategic partnerships with key entities such as the China-Saudi Enterprise Innovation Center, the Arab Business Forum (China), and the China-ASEAN Halal Trade Service Center. In collaboration with the UN Procurement Promotion Committee, the Chamber is also co-developing the International SME Cooperation Center to support businesses aiming to expand globally.

She underscored the Chamber’s strong track record in organizing B2B matchmaking events and hosting visiting business delegations, warmly welcoming future visits from Pakistani commercial teams.

During the dialogue, both sides held in-depth discussions on advancing bilateral trade cooperation and developing actionable commercial linkages.

Discussions centered on drafting a strategic cooperation agreement and establishing a long-term engagement mechanism aimed at facilitating supply-demand alignment and delivering concrete business outcomes.  He shared updates on the Chamber’s International SME Cooperation Centre initiative, which is being positioned as a cross-regional hub for business collaboration and resource sharing.

Lin elaborated on the role of the China UN Procurement Promotion Association, established in 2006 as the only national-level platform in China dedicated to connecting domestic companies with United Nations procurement opportunities.

The association has helped significantly increase the number of Chinese suppliers registered with UN agencies and is now recognized as a key platform in promoting global procurement and technical cooperation.

The meeting concluded with both parties expressing strong interest in formalizing collaboration. A joint China-Pakistan business networking session is being planned, with participation from Pakistani experts and industry leaders.

The Guangdong Chamber pledged to serve as a bridge for Chinese companies seeking commercial ties with Pakistan, offering targeted business intelligence and platforms for face-to-face engagement between buyers and suppliers.

The visit marked a productive step forward in strengthening commercial ties between the two sides. Both the Guangdong Chamber and the Pakistani delegation expressed optimism about the road ahead, agreeing to work closely to implement the shared vision of mutual benefit, trade expansion, and regional economic cooperation.
